Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for future updates of this blog

I recently found a way to do unlimited votes on PollDaddy Polls and other such Poll Systems

The Poll Services add a cookie and some additional data to your computer which prevents you from doing more than the prescribed votes (usually 1). But if you clear these cookies along with some data, then you can do more votes.

How to do unlimited voting in Firefox

We first need to setup Firefox according to our circumstances. Here are the things to be done:

  1. Go to Tools>Options & click on the Privacy tab.
  2. Uncheck the last option, “Ask me before clearing my private data“.

    Selecting Options

    Selecting Options

  3. Then click on the “Settings” in the  “Private Data” column.

    Selecting the Settings

    Selecting the Settings

  4. Click “Ok“, then “Apply” & click “Ok“.

Our Firefox is ready to help us do voting fastly…

Now just keep 2 shortcuts in mind:

  1. Ctrl + Shift + Del (Clears Private Data)
  2. Ctrl + R (Refreshes a page)

Now here are the steps to vote unlimited:

  1. Go to the poll’s page.
  2. Vote once.
  3. Clear Private Data using the shortcut.
  4. Refresh the page using the shortcut, then vote again.
  5. For voting continuously, keep on repeating the steps 3 & 4.

How to do unlimited voting in Google Chrome

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the poll’s page, do the vote.
  2. Click on the tools tab (top-right corner) & choose “Clear Browsing Data…“.
  3. Tick all the options & in the “period” select “Everything“. Click on “Clear Browsing Data“.
  4. Refresh the page & vote again.
  5. Repeat these steps to vote again.

Thanks to a special friend without whom, this post would not have been possible:)

How did you confirmed that the vote you make is counted?

Don’t just jump in to conclusion that a “Thank you for voting” will record the vote. Most of the poll software also use IP has a parameter to check redundant voting apart from cookie records.Since polldaddy is a popular application the chances of making such a mistake is very very less.

      @askoppal…
Thanks for pointing out all those facts…
But..I have tested it very well….I didn’t jump into conclusion by seeing that “Thank you for voting”…
This hack works fine…even polldaddy can make such small mistakes :P

Hey Mr Hack_Minded. This was very helpful. Thankyou so much.
I tried to do this and it worked. But after voting for a couple of times, it didn’t work anymore. Probably polldaddy fixed it or something.
    Any ideas? :-S

  4. ying says:

    hey.polldaddy has fixed it.

  5. It still works. My firefox is set up to not accept/remember anything from a site and it works perfectly.

i built a script that automatically votes hundreds of times a minute, if you want to see it take a look at http://grimhq.com/vote.php?id=10&ammount=10&a...
you must set the id to the id of the poll, found in the source code of the page on witch it is embedded, then you must look for the id of the answer, put that with the AId in the url and the ammount is how many times a min to hack

  7. bubba joe says:

    Doesn't work, stupid****.

  8. Jeebus says:

This doesn't work. Neither does the script.

  9. Jeezy says:

Two simple steps to a successful multiple-vote in Poll Daddy:

    1) With IPChanger 1.4, quickly disconnect/reconnect your connection (fastest way to do it is the flick off-on the Wireless button on your comp) and apply DHCP-enabled settings (everything is set to 0.0.0.0, because you'll have a dynamic IP).

    2) Delete cookies, refresh.

You should be able to vote again. But it's SLOW, takes anywhere from 20-60 seconds and probably not worth it.

    does this still work /

  11. Poll Junkie says:

Ok so they have caught on now the whole delete the cookies doesnt work any more I need a programmer any takers$$$

  12. [...] So the voting didn’t go as planned,  (see poll daddy hack) but if u are a potential graphic design customer, here is my work and here are 4 others in [...]

  13. ItsMe says:

Does not WORK its outdated guide.

  14. bebo says:

But the question is… how to prevent this exploit to happening to my own polls…
